Personal Background
Adal Regis was born in New York and raised in Haiti before settling in Chicago’s Hyde Park. He earned a master’s in public policy from the University of Chicago’s Harris School. Regis has been deeply engaged in civic life, serving as a District Representative for Congresswoman Robin Kelly and securing significant federal funding for local entities. Currently, he is the Director of Strategy at a Chicago-based environmental justice nonprofit, where he leads initiatives on clean energy and climate resilience.
