Anne Dauphinais was born in 1960 in Killingly, Connecticut. She graduated from Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institution's nursing program in 1986 and subsequently worked as a nurse until 1988. Dauphinais then served as a pre-release case manager for the Connecticut Department of Correction while also working as a sales consultant for Novartis. In 2016, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Eastern Connecticut State University and was elected to the Connecticut House of Representatives for District 44, a position she has held since.
