Arne Carlson

Arne Carlson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Williams College. He began his career in public service by being elected to the Minneapolis City Council and later serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives. Carlson was elected as the Minnesota State Auditor and subsequently served as the 37th governor of Minnesota, where he focused on economic reforms, education funding, and civil rights. After his tenure as governor, he transitioned to leadership roles in the private sector, including serving as chairman and CEO of the IDS Mutual Fund Group. Carlson has also been an advocate for campaign finance reform and environmental protection.
