David Clark earned a bachelor’s degree in business marketing and subsequently obtained a real estate license. He co-founded a real estate brokerage firm, later expanding into real estate management services. Clark spent nearly two decades in the U.S. Army Special Forces, serving in active combat in Afghanistan under Operation Enduring Freedom, where he earned the title of Green Beret. He currently serves in the Georgia House of Representatives from the 100th District.
David Clark champions a blend of traditional conservative values with a focus on local economic empowerment, advocating for the elimination of both state income and property taxes. His stance on foreign influence, particularly opposing Chinese investments in Georgia, reveals a strong anti-globalist streak. Clark’s policy on education, emphasizing parental control, juxtaposes with his tough stance on crime and drugs, suggesting a calculated approach to balancing local freedoms with stringent public safety measures.
