Everton Blair, born and raised in Georgia’s 13th Congressional District, is the son of Jamaican immigrants. He holds a Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College, a Master’s in Policy, Organizations, and Leadership from Stanford University, and a Doctorate in Education Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Blair has substantial experience in education policy, having served as an educator, program director, and policy advisor at district, state, and federal levels. He was elected to the Gwinnett County Board of Education in 2018, becoming the first person of color and the youngest-ever member, and later served as board chair during the pandemic.
