John Maddox graduated from Mena High School in 1987 and subsequently earned a bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas. He practiced law at Maddox and Maddox Law Firm before entering public service. Maddox currently serves in the Arkansas House of Representatives, where he chairs the House Insurance and Commerce Committee and also participates in the House Revenue and Taxation Committee. Additionally, he holds leadership roles on the boards of the Polk County Developmental Center, University of Arkansas at Rich Mountain, and Union Bank of Mena.
