Jonathan Patterson graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1998 and subsequently pursued a career in medicine, specializing in general surgery. He spent several years managing healthcare responsibilities in eastern Jackson County before transitioning to public service. Patterson was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2018 and began his tenure in 2019.
