Kevin Coleman

Kevin Coleman, born in Redford, Michigan, graduated from Churchill High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University, including time at the Lee Honors College. He began his career in community service as a music instructor and held leadership roles with the Westland Festival Committee and the Westland Veterans Association. Coleman transitioned into politics in 2014, serving as a city councilman for Westland, Michigan, before being elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2018.
