Matt Longjohn

Matt Longjohn has spent the last 25 years developing community health coalitions, implementing new health care delivery models, and expanding access to affordable health care. He has a strong background in advocating for environmental protections and improving health equity. Longjohn transitioned from a high-finance career, where he managed institutional risk, to the public sector. Currently, he serves as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives for the 40th district, representing 90,211 constituents. He is the only physician in the Michigan Legislature.
