Melony Bell

Melony Bell was born in 1961 in Winter Haven, Florida, and later attended Fort Meade Middle-Senior High School. She holds a bachelor's degree from Southeastern University and an associate degree from South Florida State College. Before entering politics, Bell worked as an auditor for the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, gaining experience in public safety and regulatory compliance. Bell spent 14 years on the Fort Meade City Commission, including four terms as mayor, focusing on community engagement and local infrastructure. She then served in the Florida House of Representatives and was elected as Polk County Supervisor of Elections in 2024.
