Nabeela Syed, raised in Palatine, Illinois by parents who immigrated from Hyderabad, India, holds a B.A. in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. Early in her career, she worked as a digital strategist for a non-profit and coached high school debate, fostering civic engagement and mentorship. Syed transitioned from non-profit work to the public sector, gaining experience as a campaign manager and digital strategist before being elected as a state representative in 2022. She currently serves in the Illinois General Assembly, bringing unique perspectives as one of its youngest and only Muslim members.
