Regan Deering holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duke University and a Master of Arts in Education from DePaul University. He has experience as an educator, teaching science to elementary students in Chicago, and as a small business owner, operating a tutoring and test prep center in Decatur. Deering has been involved in community leadership roles, including serving on the Mt. Zion Community Unit School District’s school board and as Chair of the Decatur Public Schools Foundation.
