Roland A. Luedtke

Roland A. Luedtke was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1942. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and later earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 1949. Luedtke began his public service career as the Nebraska Deputy Secretary of State, followed by a tenure in the Nebraska Legislature, where he eventually became Speaker. He then served as the 31st lieutenant governor of Nebraska and later as the mayor of Lincoln.
