Tracell Peace-Nichols holds a robust educational background, beginning with a degree in Political Science and Legal Studies from Augusta State University. She subsequently earned master’s degrees in Criminal Justice and International Relations, focusing on homeland security. Peace-Nichols furthered her education by attending law school while balancing family and professional responsibilities, culminating in her graduation and passing of the Georgia State Bar. Her professional journey includes roles in the public sector, notably as a probation officer and Assistant Chief Community Supervision Officer for the Georgia Department of Corrections, followed by a position as a prosecutor at the Augusta District Attorney’s Office. Peace-Nichols co-founded The Missing Link Found, a non-profit organization aimed at supporting underserved and at-risk youth, and established the MNM Stars, a boys travel basketball team under the non-profit.
