Trever Nehls has a robust military background, having enlisted in the United States Army in 1988 and rising to the rank of second lieutenant after attending Officer Candidate School in 1991. Over his 33 years in the U.S. Army Reserve, Nehls commanded Soldiers at various levels and was deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. His military education includes advanced degrees from the Command and General Staff College, Joint Forces Staff College, and the U.S. Army War College, as well as a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and Corrections. Nehls has also held a civilian leadership role as an elected Constable for Fort Bend County Precinct 4 and founded Nehls Consulting, LLC.
