William Irwin graduated from Parkway Central High School in 1974 and earned a bachelorβs degree from the University of Missouri in 1979. He spent three decades in the United States Navy, rising from an Enlisted Hull Maintenance Technician to a Navy SEAL Captain. During his military career, Irwin also served in the Leeβs Summit Police Department and SWAT Team. He completed a masterβs degree in National Security Strategy from the United States Navy War College in 2009.
